Colleges in NC:
- cfnc.org is the quickest and most efficient way to send your transcript to a North Carolina college. Every college in North Carolina (universities and community colleges) is listed on cfnc's transcript system.
- Steps to request your transcript on cfnc:
- login to your student account on cfnc
- click "apply"
- click "apply to college"
- click "application hub"
- click "request a transcript"
- fill out the requested personal information (including your PowerSchool ID number) then search for the college which you are applying to.
- Once you submit this request, cfnc also allows you to track the progress of your transcript and see when the college has downloaded and viewed your transcript.
- You will need to request a transcript by clicking THIS LINK and proceeding with the steps for "current students". Students must plan ahead and allow approx. 2 weeks for their transcript request to be processed. You will receive an email when your order has been processed and electronically mailed to the college OR when your transcript is ready for pickup in the front office.
General Notice about The Common App:
- If you applied to a school using CommonApp, Ms. Carlton will be able to electronically upload your transcript as long as you listed Ms. Carlton as your school counselor on your application (there is a designated spot to input school counselor information). It is best in your best interest to request the official transcript through CFNC PRIOR to your deadline in addition to this.
